Access Education Budgets: Snapshot Enhancements
Reimport Scenario Values
Once a snapshot has been created, there is now an option under Actions to reimport scenario values. This reimports the Original and Current Budget and updates any columns within the snapshot that uses the Original and Current Budget as part of the calculation, whilst also updating the Current Budget Balance at the bottom of the snapshot.
Rename Actual Variance column
The Actual Variance column has been renamed to Variance to Expected Outturn, for better clarity.
Access Education Budgets: NJC 2019 Pay Scale April 2025 Update
The NJC 2019 Pay Scale has been increased by 3.2% for April 2025. This has been applied to the 101 and 102 (Academies) and NON (Schools) containers.
You will see this in the Manage Budgets screen (before you launch a scenario) as the Updates available button.
Applying this update will affect the Working Scenarios selected. If the user chooses to ignore the update then they will need to manually update their pay scales, as the update button will no longer be available.
If any extra points or groups have been added to our default scales these will be removed, and put back to our default.
📌Note:
The updates may take up to ten minutes to take effect on all contracts across the working budget scenarios.
If you are a user in an LA Maintained School or a MAT with its own container, you will need to contact your LA or Head of Trust for further assistance.
How this version will be made available
These enhancements, along with Budget Monitoring Current Budget Balance and Save Custom Layouts (detailed in Access Education Budgets: November 2025 Release Notes) are now available.
