This article explains what appears in the Staff Details view and how to use it to review staff contract data across selected schools.

View Staff Details Data
Open Central Budgets.
Click Reporting in the left hand navigation menu.
Open the Staff Details view.
Click Select Report Options if you need to change the schools or publish type used in the report.
Review the teacher and staff contract data shown for each selected school.
Review the grouped rows to compare staff details by section and school.

Understand the Default View
By default, the Staff Details view groups data by Section, then by School Name.
The default visible columns are:
Column area | Default visible columns |
Staff details | Staff Type, Section, School Type, School Name, First Name, Surname, Contract Ref, Scale Code. |
Each term section | Scale Group, Point/Award, Hourly Rate, Hours, Weeks, FTE. |
Final section | FTE Total, Basic Salary, Total NI, Pension, Allowances, Total. |
Add Optional Columns
Open the Staff Details view.
Open the Columns panel on the right hand side of the view.
Select the checkbox next to each column you want to show.
Clear the checkbox next to each column you want to hide.
Review the updated grid.
Optional columns include:
Optional column type | Description |
Future budget years | Shows up to four additional budget years. |
Additional contract data | Shows further contract information. |
Account coding data | Shows account coding data for Salary, NI, and Pension. |
Additional term costs | Shows extra cost values per term, such as Salary, NI, Pension, and Allowances. |
