Code the Transfer from Revenue Reserves Capital Line

The CIL 565 – Transfer from revenue reserves Capital Income line is controlled by the coding on the EL 420 – (2016) Transfers to capital fund line in Other Expenditure. To change the Capital Income coding, you must update the account coding on EL 420.


Code the Capital Income Line via EL 420

  1. Open your budget scenario and go to the Other Expenditure section.

  2. Find the line EL 420 – (2016) Transfers to capital fund.

  3. On the far right of this line, click the pen icon.

  4. In the Edit Details dialogue box that opens, scroll to the bottom to find Account Coding for CIL 565.

  5. For each account code field, use the drop-down lists to select the relevant codes.

  6. When you have finished, click Submit.

The CIL 565 – Transfer from revenue reserves Capital Income line is now coded using the account codes you selected on the EL 420 line.
