Job types help you categorise staff contracts, bulk code staff members, and support reporting.
Job types are set up from the Academy/School menu and are available across all scenarios.
πNote: Job types created in the Academy/School menu apply to staffing contracts in all scenarios.
Create Job Types
Click Academy or School, then click Settings.
Click Job Types.
Click the blue plus button to add a new job type.
Enter a value in the Code field. This is the code that appears in the Job Type field on the staff contract.
Enter a Description.
If applicable, click the grid icon, then enter the Account Coding.
Click Save.
π Note: To add job types to other staffing sections, change the E0/EL Section Code. Click the section code drop-down field, such as E01/EL300 - Teaching Staff, then select the required staffing section.

You can use job types to:
Assign categories to staff contracts.
Bulk code staff members.
Support reporting across staffing data.
