This article explains how integrated curriculum and financial planning lets you combine curriculum planning with financial budgets so you can check whether your curriculum is affordable and whether staff are deployed effectively.

Understand ICFP

  1. Use ICFP to combine your financial budget plans with your curriculum and staff deployment plans.

  2. Bring income and staffing expenditure data from your budget scenarios in Access Education Budgets, then configure curriculum and staff deployment data in the planning tool.

  3. Use these combined data sources to analyse:

    • How effectively staff are deployed.

    • The quality and coverage of your curriculum.

    • Whether the planned curriculum can be delivered within your financial budget.

  4. Create multiple resource plans at any time so you can compare different planning options in the same way that you create and compare multiple budget scenarios.

  5. Switch between resource plans to review alternative models, such as different staffing mixes or curriculum offers, and compare their impact on key metrics over time.
