Manage Scenario Data On A Resource Plan
In the Resource Plan list, locate the plan you want to manage.
Click the ellipsis (three dots) icon next to that plan to open its options.
Click Re-import Scenario Data to update the financial data from the linked budget scenario in Access Education Budgets.
Read the message explaining that all budget scenario data (income, expenditure, and staffing lists) will be refreshed for this plan.
If you are happy to proceed, click Re-import Data.
Wait for the success message, then review the resource plan view to see updated financial data.
πNote:
Re-importing scenario data does not change the original budget scenario in Access Education Budgets. It only refreshes the copy of that data in the resource plan.
If you want to keep a version of the resource plan with older financial assumptions, create a copy of the plan before re-importing data.
Copy A Resource Plan
In the Resource Plan list, click the ellipsis icon next to the plan you want to copy.
Click Copy Resource Plan.
In the message that appears, choose one of the following options:
Copy Resource Plan to create an independent copy with the same budget scenario and data.
Copy & Choose New Scenario to create a copy based on a different budget scenario.
If you choose Copy & Choose New Scenario, select the new budget scenario from the drop-down list, then click Create Copy of Plan.
Wait for the success message and confirm that a new plan appears in the Resource Plan list, usually named βCopy of [original plan name]β.
πNote: Creating a copy does not automatically re-import budget scenario data. The copied plan will start with the same financial data as the original plan.
Delete A Resource Plan
In the Resource Plan list, click the ellipsis icon next to the plan you want to remove.
Click Delete Resource Plan.
Read the warning that once deleted, the data cannot be retrieved.
Click Delete Plan to confirm, or click Cancel if you decide not to delete the plan.
Check that the plan no longer appears in the Resource Plan list.
β οΈImportant: Only delete a resource plan when you are sure it is no longer needed for analysis, reporting, or audit purposes.
Publish A Resource Plan
Open the resource plan you want to publish in the Resource Plan view.
In the top-right corner, click Publish Plan.
If another plan is already published for the school, read the message explaining that the new plan will replace the currently published plan in consolidated reports.
Click Publish or the equivalent confirmation option in the prompt.
Check the Resource Plan list for the Published indicator to confirm that this plan is now published.
πNote: Publishing a plan for consolidated reporting is available in Access Education Central Budgets. No resource plan data is deleted when one published plan replaces another.
